I was extremely happy with most of the folks I spoke with during my time at Key West. It took me 3 days of visiting the dealership to make sure I was making the right decision on the vehicle for my needs and my budget. All staff but one understood that this purchase wasn't an easy one to make within my budget. Peter Olsen, Michael Nokes and Robert Klaus really understood why I needed to take my time and research all my options. I appreciated their kindness and patience and didn't feel at all pressured into the sale.
Helpful and honest dealers. Car was well inspected and in advertised good condition. Overall the service was good and the sale was fair. Dean was great!
I saw an ad for a F350 at the lot. The truck was not on the lot due to construction. It took a day to get the truck so I could see it. I made a deal and drove it away that afternoon. Happy with the vehicle. Sales person was new to Key West and lacked knowledge of all the options on the truck.
Over and above
They were great. They did everything in their power to help us. They really know there stuff. They took the time to explain everything and answer all if our questions. They really want to make that we got everything we needed and more.
Honest and Trustworthy Dealership
There were a few hiccups that came along with our purchase of a pre-owned vehicle but I was impressed with how much effort was taken to remedy the situation and make sure we were feeling great about our purchase. The dealership really went above and beyond to get us in a vehicle that was safe and good quality!
Jeff was very attentive both on-site and through follow-up calls, addressing concerns, and doing everything in his power to remedy the situation. I would highly recommend working with Jeff who was easy going, enthusiastic, and kept the process very simple.
In the end, we are very happy with our new (to us!) vehicle and I'm glad we went through this journey with Key West Ford and Jeff.
This was one of the best experiences I have had at a dealership. Thanks to Jag, Nick, and Mike for their help getting me into a great vehicle.
Got my dream car with a very good deal
One of my best experience ever, staff is so kind , also deals are awesome. They helps me a lot to get my dream car within my budget. Big thanks to peter olson.
Honest and a pleasure to wok with.
I bought a used truck which needed a bit of service. Key West Ford did not hesitate to insure the truck lived up to what they promised.
Efficient and Courteous!
I moved to Vancouver from Toronto and was in need of a truck. Pete was able to source one that I was looking for from Alberta and had it delivered quickly and was very communicative in terms of delivery status throughout. He was even kind enough to send me some recommendations for places to go around New West with me being new to the area. Thanks Pete!
INFINITI News For Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
INFINITI’s excellence continues! Now, the car manufacturer is being recognized for their sterling commitment to safety—their 2019 QX50 has received a five-star safety rating from the NHTSA.
The QX50 received the wonderful score as part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) New Car Assessment Program (NCAP). It wasn’t limited to one variant, either—both the front-wheel and all-wheel versions of the machine gain the distinction. Notably, the 2019 model comes with ProPILOT Assist, which serves to alleviate the woes associated with single-lane highway driving thanks to its incorporation of Advanced Intelligent Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist, two technologies that work to autonomously aid your driving efforts.
"The safety of our customers and their passengers is one of our top priorities. With the 2019 INFINITI QX50, we introduced a suite of new driver assistance features, including ProPILOT Assist, which offer support when needed and further enhance the overall driving experience," said Jeff Pope, Group Vice President, INFINITI Americas. "We are pleased with NHTSA's recognition of our efforts to develop some of the safest cars on the road.”
Tacoma residents, the people are voting with their wallets and it’s clear that INFINITI continues to be one of this country’s premier automakers.
Here are a few notes from their recent earnings call for April 2019: The QX80 full-size SUV experienced an increase of 12 percent in sales from this same period last year. Also, the Q50 sports sedan is up 16 percent from this time in 2018, while the Q70 is up a whopping 27 percent. The biggest win is with the QX50 luxury mid-size crossover, however, which had its best April ever (sales are up 7 percent).
The 2019 QX50 LUXE AWD has been wowing consumers since its release, as is evidenced in the stellar sales numbers revealed during the earnings call. The machine comes with a 2.0L four-cylinder that makes 268 horses @ 5,600 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 280 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,600 RPM. When matched with Driveline traction control, you can bet that skidding/slipping will be mitigated as you cruise around the Seattle area.
INFINITI’s out here doing big things! In fact, they recently earned a commendation for their participation in the Roy Chapman Andrews Centennial Expedition.
The Roy Chapman Andrews Centennial Expedition was organized by the club's Hong Kong Chapter. Thanks to an “outstanding feat of exploration,” it won the Explorers Club’s award at the 115th Explorers Club Annual Dinner in New York. The discovery of new fossils and fossil locations during the expedition led to its selection as the winner.
Roy Chapman Andrews first discovered dinosaur fossils about 100 years ago in the Gobi’s Flaming Cliffs. As he was the first explorer to ever use automobiles in such an expedition, INFINITI was honored to have their new QX50 mid-size crossover as part of the state-of-the-art SUVs utilized in the expedition. The QX50 was arguably the star thanks to its world-first variable compression engine, but the QX60 and QX80 were also included. This win follows in the footsteps of the big victory for the American Mount Everest Expedition of 1963.
The Boston Marathon is the world’s premier distance running event and Mr. Lasko has earned a complimentary entry into the competition on account of INFINITI’s multi-year partnership with the event; for the second year in a row, the company will donate $10,000 to the Semper Fi Fund in celebration of the "Year of Giving Back.”
"INFINITI is proud to again partner with the Boston Athletic Association and Semper Fi Fund for this year's Boston Marathon," said Tedros Mengiste, Regional Vice President, East Region for INFINITI USA. "This event recognizes some of our country's greatest heroes, and we are eager to see one of those heroes, Dan Lasko, cross the finish line.”
As part of their sponsorship, the official lead vehicle of the Boston Marathon is the 2019 QX50. It will lead the runners to the finish line with its VC-Turbo engine—the world’s first such motor in production.
"Everyone at the Fund is excited to be working with INFINITI for a second year for the 2019 Boston Marathon," said Semper Fi Fund President, CEO and Founder Karen Guenther. "Their support of our mission to provide urgently needed resources and support for combat wounded, critically ill and catastrophically injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families will touch a great many lives – lives that will be significantly and profoundly changed for the better because of their generosity."
This is a fun time of the year, Tacoma and Seattle residents, what with the NCAA tournament fast approaching and all—but it’s also a chance to do a lot of good. This year as in years past, INFINITI is teaming with the NCAA and the American Cancer Society to find a cure for the disease—and you can help!
From now until March 11, forty-eight NCAA basketball coaches and their respective universities are participating in the #TIMEOUTFTW (Timeout for the Win) campaign. There will be one designated, special timeout in each participating regular season college basketball game, during which fans will be encouraged to vote via social media or the INFINITITIMEOUT.com portal.
The top three vote-receiving coaches in the poll will have a donation made to the American Cancer Society in their name courtesy of INFINITI. The first-place coach receives a $360,000 donation, second place $150,000, and third place $90,000. INFINITI will also make an additional $400,000 donation, bringing the charitable funds this year to a cool one million.
In developing and designing the sensational cabin of the new 2019 QX50, INFINITI’s braintrust turned to two traditional Japanese philosophies: “mitate” and “shitate.” These two techniques in handcraft act as complements to achieve an apex in artistry.
On the one hand, “mitate” refers to bringing together the best materials possible. Artisans carefully make their selection from the best range available. In contrast, “shitate” relates to the execution of the integration of the aforementioned materials, ensuring that only their finest qualities are emphasized.
The material design of the 2019 QX50’s cabin is a culmination of work that began in 2015. Black saddle leather was selected to emphasize the attractiveness of the dashboard and center console. In areas where the robustness of the saddle leather wasn’t as necessary (such as passive surfaces), gorgeous white matte and Nubuck leather are used as trim. And because “shitate” is celebrated here, the speakers in the door are covered by black saddle leather complete with slashes to allow audio to escape and fill the cabin. Tan edging around the two-tone black-and-white interior enables the natural hue of the leather to be represented, too. And a similar attention to detail and process was extended to the wood in the cabin—the open-pore, matte-finish genuine maple is treated to retain its natural appearance and texture.

INFINITI will unveil its electric vehicle at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show and has just released a tantalizing teaser for it. The highly-anticipated event is going to take place this January and is sure to be a much-welcomed reprieve from the coldest month in Winter.
In the video, the new SUV appears sleek and stunning with an illuminated emblem and badge on the front bumper, slimmer LED headlights than the previous concept, and a curvaceous body. Additionally, EVs usually have less mechanical components so we can look forward to a luxurious amount of cabin space. The brand, which is known to be innovative and leading-edge, has said in the past that it intends to electrify all its automobiles by 2021!
In the meantime, you can get your hands on their latest technological breakthrough with the new QX50. It has an award-winning engine, the VC-Turbo, which generates 268 hp and 280 lb-ft. of torque. What makes this motor so revolutionary? It’s the first to have a variable compression ratio which means it can switch anywhere between 8:1 (greater top speeds and better fuel economy) and 14:1 (power-on-demand).
Give us a call at our dealership of Tacoma in Fife, Washington today, and we’ll schedule you an appointment to take the QX50 for a test spin.

It has been quite a year for INFINITI! Raking in numerous awards, breaking sales records, and digging up dinosaur bones have left the new QX50 with plenty of wonderful memories.
This luxury five-seater first grabbed attention in July when a group of 35 scientists took it on the adventure of a lifetime. Armed with state-of-the-art technology and the QX50, these knowledge seekers set out on a 20-day expedition in the Gobi Desert to locate fossil specimens. Out of their fleet of INFINITI SUVs, the team unanimously agreed that this mid-size model was the most versatile.
By November, deliveries for the QX50 skyrocketed. Up by 86% for its fourth month in a row, the company sold 3,009 of these beauties. Its rapid gain in popularity may be due to advanced safety features such as blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning/intervention, and adaptive high beams.
As the cherry on top, its motor earned a top spot on Ward’s Ten Best Engines. As the world’s first VC-Turbo, this 2.0-liter four-cylinder generates 268 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. It also pushes the combined mpg up to 28.

The general consensus is that the new 2019 QX50 is all-around fabulous. In fact, Business Insider conducted its own review of it, and they were very impressed - they even declared it a serious contender for BMW, Acura, Lexus, and Audi.
The feature that they loved the most is the exceptional four-cylinder turbocharged engine. It’s the first motor that has a variable compression ratio which gives it a lot of power and great fuel economy. The EPA estimates the latter at 24 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway, which is startlingly awesome for an SUV and difficult to find in its contemporary counterparts; regarding its boisterous capabilities: you get 268 HP at 5,600 revolutions per minute and 280 lb-ft of torque at 1,600 RPM. This vehicle has certainly got the whole package!
Additionally, they adored the cabin which has a copious amount of space and style. Everyone gets roughly 40 inches for their heads and a generous 39.6 inches of legroom in the front and 38.7 inches in the back. What’s more, the seats are upholstered in plush leather with a soft, gorgeous suede trim.
Does the QX50 sound as though it would fit perfectly in your garage? Call INFINITI of Tacoma today, and we’ll schedule you a test spin!
